Who we are

Our Mission
We are a spiritually driven community committed to empowering people to break free from addiction. By connecting individuals with vital resources and community, we stand with them on their journey toward faith, healing, and recovery.

Our Mission

Our Vision

Imagine a world where addiction and homelessness no longer hold people back from living happy, healthy, and purposeful lives! Our nonprofit is dedicated to making this vision a reality one person at a time. By ensuring everyone has the tools needed through an all-inclusive approach to wellness, spirituality, and recovery, we are empowering people to break free from the chains of addiction.

At the heart of our mission, we strive to offer a comprehensive range of resources that include healthcare access, tools for job preparedness and employment opportunities, assistance in securing transitional housing, and finding nurturing support within faith-based and recovery communities.

Our Goal

We know the need for quality transitional living. Our goal is to obtain property in order to open a recovery house. Promoting a faith-based and sustainable recovery environment, we can help people regain and rebuild their lives. Many people who are suffering from substance abuse lack a safe place to heal, and as a result, they are never able to reach their full potential. It is our goal to provide people with a clean, safe environment where they can feel at home, have time to heal, and learn about God's Word.

Our Recovery Journey

After years of addiction and hopelessness, we each found help through a 12-step fellowship—a place where we were finally met with understanding, honesty, and grace. It was there that we began to experience true recovery, not just from substances, but in the way we thought, lived, and related to others.

Through shared accountability, daily spiritual growth, and the support of people who had walked the same road, we found hope and freedom where there had been bondage. It was in that space of healing and transformation that our paths crossed. As we continued to grow individually, we also began to grow together—learning how to live with purpose, integrity, and a deep desire to
help others find the same life-changing recovery we were given.

Together, we founded Grace Matters to support the still-suffering addict and those seeking recovery and community. We believe no one is too far gone, no story is beyond redemption, and no one should have to walk this journey alone.

Change my heart, O Lord, and put a new and right spirit within me; do not cast me away from your presence, and do not take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and sustain in me a willing spirit.
Psalms 51:10-12
